All of those concepts apply to your need. There is a book “Running QB for Not For Profits” by Kathy Ivens. They are all needing you to do some customization and tailoring. That’s no different than tailoring the data file to be a Child Care or a Bakery or a Construction file. So, you have a bit of setup to do to tailor this data file to be a NFP file. The Function is the same: I got the funds the same date as I am putting on this form as the Charges. In fact, in QB NFP, the “donor” button opens Customer Center that is just a Label, not a Function. You don’t need a specific “Not for profit” program.
You control the Account Names and use them accordingly. You can use it to do any accounting that you need to do.
